All iOS VPNs are worthless and Apple knows it, claims researcher
Apple cares more about adding moronic effects to Messages for children & older people who still behave like children than they do about providing a secure platform. They also care more about self-righteous posturing & fleecing third-party developers. Apple needs to grow up and b stop being morally bankrupt. -

EU tells Apple to open everything up to its rivals
The Fanbois are out in force for this one. It people want to install other app stores, browser engines, wallets, etc., show them a security warning, and they can be treated like adults who can make their own decisions. Macs allow these things but you iSheep don’t demand that these options be disallowed there. If Apple announced that they’d allowed choice in these realms without any governmental influence, you’d all be singing their praise. Stop drinking the iKool-Aid.

iPhone 16 Pro gets bigger and better with improved cameras and Apple Intelligence
All those complaining: what do you want that was missing?
The iPhone 16 Pro got a large battery life improvement, large performance improvements in processing & memory bandwidth, improved thermal management, faster USB-C, larger screen, stronger glass, smaller bezels, new capacitive button, higher resolution ultra wide sensor, tetraprism telephoto lens, improved main camera, WiFi 7, improved mics, etc.
The main hardware improvements not provided that I can think of would be getting rid of the Dynamic Island, upgrading the front & telephoto cameras, and adding under-screen TouchID. What else is there, really? -

iOS 14 will forget that a third-party app is the default, if the app is updated
CloudTalkin said:I'm the furthest you can get from being an Apple apologist but maybe, just maybe they're updating the feature piecemeal so they can more adequately deal with inevitable hiccups. It's a helluva lot less disruptive if the company and customers are dealing with a couple of issues with a couple of apps as opposed to a multitude of issues with multiple apps at the same time. Lessons learned dealing with default email and browser issues can be applied proactively to any future default apps.
The numerous problems that Apple's implementation has had, and the many other bugs in other Apple code, indicate abysmal software engineering & testing skills.
