I get the feeling that these stories are put out to play with Apple stock prices. Someone is making a fortune on this stuff.

This sounds about right for a sub-urban office park.

I'm all for moving more manufacturing to the United States, but I think people are acting as if Tim Cooke can just flip a switch and do it. In reality, it's not even up to him since Apple does not manufacture it's own phones. It would be up to contr…

Can't you get the same kind of results by buying those cheap keytone test strips that you pee on?

If the source fuel is biogas, then the Co2 is not exacerbating global warming, if the source gas is natural gas, then yea... That's not too helpful.
-
The bloom boxes are high temperature fuel cells that use natural gas instead of hydrogen as fuel. Since the input is hydrocarbon the output (besides electricity) must be h2o and c02.
-
The other thing that the solar array and biogas facility give Apple is better cost certainty. If you depend wholy on the grid for electricity then you are subject to whatever price fluctuations the local utility will subject you to. Remember Enron a…

As an unabashed iPhone fanboy, I have to say, this phone looks great. Not great enough for me to give up my beloved iPhone and switch carriers, but certainly a worthy competitor. Provided it costs something reasonable and actually performs well, thi…

This is exactly why Apple is no longer going to do MacWorld. Some third party company decides that early in January Apple has to have to have some killer products ready to wow everyone with. If they don't absolutely blow the socks off everyone, it w…

Well the numbers are all very imprecise, but one thing to consider is that the AT&T figures end in December. If Steve meant that 4 million were sold by the time of the keynote, and if his figure of 20,000 iphones / day is correct, then the 15 da…

It's totally nuts. All the musc labels have banded together to try and kill their most lucrative online retailer. I may not be a great business person, but that doesn't sound like a good move to me, especially with CD sales falling, and piracy incre…
