I wonder if Parallels or VMware will come out with an app the lets you run VMs on this beast. Imagine running macOS or Windows for Arm in a VM. I hope Apple lets them do it...

How about we look at it from the user’s perspective instead of the developers. After all, the users pay for the device. I for one, as a user, am very satisfied with the way app distribution is currently done.

And this is a surprise why and did you really think Google wouldn’t try to debunk it because hey, your location, oops I mean your phone’s location is telemetry data...

This guy is going to kill the iPhone as we know it and I don’t mean that in a good way.

I hope they keep the ability to change the color of the switch with just changing the faceplate like the original. If you wanted to change the color of your room, all you needed was a $5 faceplate instead of changing the entire switch. After the lat…

This isn’t about corporations. It’s about president. If they allow it then others will say “well, you let so and so do it”. It’s a trivial change so do it and shut up. I think 2 things. One is payback for earlier issues and Two is publicity.

What do you bet something similar will happen in the US. There is too much money at stake here for so someone not to figure out a way around Apple’s restrictions.

Could this replace Fortnight’s unreal engine?

Or, it could be because of an upcoming patent dispute. I cannot see any other reason why they would want to remove it since it works so well.

Isn’t changing the server side security warning like putting black tape over your lit check engine light? Meanwhile, we have the North Dakota Senate is considering requiring apps to be loaded from any App Store. Do you think other App Stores would…

It drives me crazy that years after a device is introduced someone files a patent infringement suit. I there should be a time limit to file a suit. When was the iPhone X introduced? You mean to tell me Dr. Pryor didn’t know it was infringed or it t…

Just went to install the update on my M1 Mac Mini and during the update, the video went to snow with a clicking audio. Waited about 5 minutes and nothing changed so I forced a power off. Restarted the Mac and the install seemed to continue and compl…

Same here. It’s much quicker to review a transcript than watch a video. Also, the imbedded links have better context.

From the article: “Apple wants to stop this level of sophisticated tracking. This kind of invasive business practice is exactly what Apple's privacy campaigns and iOS features are meant to protect users agains.” Apple doesn’t want to “stop” the tra…

Am I wrong but the consumer can still allow tracking if they so wish? Isn’t this just giving the user more control of their data? Facebook is really saying they know what they are doing is creepy and exploitive and they know most people will say n…
