Ahh names, attached the name Aluminosity to my G4 powerbook. I don't know, is that qualify as a name?

Command and Conquer! The Zero Hour pack adds even more. It's both action and stratedgy. Let's you set the pace of the game, so that you can start slow and move up.

Use a Kensignton PilotMouse Bluetooth Wireless. Has a really nice side grip surface on both sides. First one died, they shipped another, no questions asked. So good customer service too.

Resetting through the iPod menu did not work, but holding the button combo. down got it.

If you don't need ultimate portability, try the creature speakers II. Got mine from provantage for 70 bucks and they are truly awesome. I have listened to the 300 sound dock and think the creatures are just as good. Look kinda cool too. Only bad…

I will try this. Stuffit I have is the latest version, just downloaded it a few days ago, since it did not come with tiger.

Okay, so more issues. Every time I restart the computer it starts over. I.E. iTunes and iPhoto want to reload and I continue to get error message about damaged iTunes list. Also, in the dock I now get question marks for safari and mail. Even if …

I am also getting error -258 from iPod trying to update, if that adds/means anything. Have also attempted deleting cache and repairing permissions.

Thanks for the responses. I figured out the format part I think. I was worried because it was taking literally a minute or more to show up on my apple desktop, and now once reformatted, shows up right away on desktop/in iTunes. I did more digging…

Got it figured out, I cntrl. clicked on it to get it out. It wouldn't work with right-click or the track pad. I did even reboot the computer. It was very bizarre, but glad to get it fixed.

Okay, so I feel like I need wireless for dummies book. Anyway, I will go with the DSL modem then from SBC and use my AirTunes/Airport express to extend the range of my wireless network. I'm trying to read up on Apple website too about how this wor…

Okay, I kind of figured I'd need the modem. For me, it is just a one computer set up. Maybe down the road I'll add a second one if I add a desktop to go with my laptop. It is 14 a month, and with taxes/surcharges is closer to 20 a month, still no…

I have gone in and tried the admin utility and will see how it works. I can't change the channel on the phone because it's an auto-selecting function with this phone. It monitors 'noise' on the line and automatically changes to the clearest channe…

What about a stand for the powerbook? Just though I'd pass this on because you said you're on a budget. I had same issue and found and bought podium coolpad. Check roadtools.com. I even had extra risers shipped out and have gained about 6-8 inch…

I went from LCIII to the first iMac and then to PowerBook 1.3 The biggest issue was learning the software, going from 7.something to X (with 8.something inbetween on the iMac). Can never remember the chip being that big of a deal, although now I d…

Yea, charge times haven't changed, so I wasn't too worried about it anyway. I'm not under warranty, but maybe at some point will pick up a new powerbrick. The cord on them doesn't seem designed to last a long time anyway.

Local beer, although it can be found in some other locations, it's made by lost coast, called Great White, yummy! lostcoast.com

Yeah, it used to turn orange all the time, didn't matter how low the charge was left on the battery, if it was in charge condition, it was orange. Just hoping it's not a sign of something bad to happen.
