Whatever dummy it was above that said AT&T is better than T-Mobile has obviously never encountered the customer service aspects of each company. Well, or taken a good look at rate plans. Or data plans. Or needed to unlock his phone. Or needed in…

Not to be overly technical, but the one with "Orange" printed all over it was a version of the T300 made for Orange. It looked somewhat similar, yes, but this more resembles the T600 series. Notice there is no picture with the screen on.. the T60x s…

I wouldn't trust anyone I couldn't reach in person with that expensive of a little toy. I'm sure there are jewelry shops in your area that do laser engraving. Just call around to see who would do it for you, but don't tell them how much Apple quoted…

PDAs just aren't fun without the internet. And the only way to get that reliably is on a 2.5G/3G wireless network (i.e. it might as well be a mobile phone with these functions). So Mr. Jobs is turning out to be very right about his predictions regar…

We've already got 1900MHz and 850MHz, why would we need that?

T-Mobile, being the only GSM provider supporting MMS at the moment, and further the only company that is bringing new technology like the 3650 into the U.S., is more than likely the first provider to offer the 3650, if not the only one. You can g…

Now why can't Apple do something like that? If it were priced between $500 and 800 (maybe a little more initially, like the iPod), and maybe sacrificed a thing or two, and was in the Apple style, not to mention had the Apple brand ease of use and in…

Come in to AIM chat 'appleinsider' to get a transcript of how to both remap apache to another port (terminal fun), and configure your base station or router to work with iCommune, as well as to share servers with us. Lots of fun going on.. right now…

[quote]Originally posted by Elric: OMG your isp actually blocks your access? I wouldn't stand for that. For serving, yes. My home [cable] ISP blocks servers on port 80, and in fact in their AUP they say that users aren't to run any type of s…

You pay for the phone ($300 in this case), then after several months, you get a rebate from T-Mobile, then get a rebate from Amazon. The rebates require being on a $39.99/month or above rate plan. T-Mobile makes a good profit on you with the one-yea…

This is old news. It's been free for better than two weeks now. At one point it was actually -$25 after the correct rebates. Amazon has crazy rebates on all of their T-Mobile phones. I ordered a T300 a week ago.
