The world needs to stop its love affair with bloody beef!

I wonder if the rumored titanium Watch will be part of the Edition series or a replacement for the current stainless steel Watches? I still wish Apple would use something more exotic than plain ceramic for its Edition series, something like Ceratani…

I still don’t know if Disney+ will be available internationally yet?

A potentially great new material for Apple’s Watch would be Ceratanium, a material mainly used in the luxury watch sphere, currently by IWC. It’s basically a high grade titanium coated in ceramic. Thus providing the durability and light weight of th…

Why is a 1TB upgrade on a MacBook Air $400 yet $500 on an iMac? As I assume the iMac incorporates more widely available DIMMs than the soldered to the motherboard memory I assume the Air uses? Anyway, these Apple upgrades are still too bloody expens…

I think the iPad Pro line with the massively upgraded iPad OS is a good replacement for the underpowered MacBook. It was a pretty and compact machine though.

In my part of the world cellular service providers barely touch the maximum speeds inherent in 4G let a lone 5G! So the latter isn’t of much interest to me really. And there’s no sign yet that it’s coming either. And what’s the point if 4G hasn’t re…

End of an era, and a little sadder for it.

A little disappointing and surprising. I thought as the Mac Pro is such a niche product. The increased manufacturing costs of made in the USA wouldn’t affect it that much, as its premium priced anyway. I genuinely thought they would continue to manu…

MagSafe reborn?

Well the other human ‘icon’ of Apple is gone (leaving the firm, not dead!) paving the way for Apple to become even more of a plain grey, monolithic corporation like Microsoft or IBM. The natural progression of things I suppose...a boring Apple?

I thought the resolution wars had stopped with 8K. I don’t see any practical use cases for 10K-16K video, except maybe for a few very niche markets. 8K is already over 33MP. That’s still considered high-res for stills let alone video!

500 million doesn’t seem like all that much really, considering just one blockbuster movie can make that much in profit. So I don’t think this deal will be for that many years going forward.

apple ][ said: Damn, that new Mac Pro looks so sweet. It's more than I am willing to spend right now, so I wont be getting one, but that doesn't mean that I can't lust after one. Same here!

Disappointing on the part of Apple. My enthusiasm for this machine has just dropped a cog.

This is why companies the world over moved most manufacturing to the Far-East!

Finally some proper clarification on the matter! I’m relieved.

5-6 thousand for the monitor, another thousand just for the stand! This is crazy expensive, even for Apple!

A very nice but very conventional design Apple released in the end. Still, sweet and very expensive. Mind you, I was shocked more by the ridiculously high price of the new monitor.
