What would be great is to be able to take the carrier's contract subsidy ($450 from ATT off the unlocked/no contract price of the phone) and apply it to the cost of the phone first, then use the iPhone upgrade program (or other upgrade programs) to …

Unfortunately, the documents are not compatible with the iPhone version of iBooks. They can be loaded into the library, but not actually viewed.

Are the changes all part of the actual file, or separate in the file system somehow? What happens if you edit a file type that is not a private type for that application; how do other applications that may not know how to interpret the revision data…

Why was the name even an issue in the first place. It seems extremely debatable that Apple using the name iOS would be in any way profitable. It's a relatively minor issue of consistency for developers; consumers don't care what it's called, they ce…

I really hope that this could be the beginning of a new printing system for all computers. I have been thinking for a while that having a print driver on each computer that needs to print seems unnecessary. A driver should be more like firmware, …

Adobe couldn't be happy about this.

I had problems with the printer drivers myself, only not that model. The Snow Leopard print driver installer seemed to simply not have the drivers available. I installed the printer drivers from my old Leopard disk using the optional installer.

I think iWork is a very slick product, I enjoy using it. Is it 100% compatible with Office? I haven't had any problems so far, but I haven't been aggressively testing it either. As long as you don't have to collaborate with Office users every day al…

I looks like it's not really a different store at all, just a section inside of the US store that contains latin genre stuff.

Well, of course open documents in Photoshop would still be pixel-for-pixel (at 100% mag). It would be a rediculous implementation of resolution independance to not allow the application decide what elements of it's interface can be scaled.
