I have to admire Michael Dell as a money making machine before he even reached his double-digit age. That said, 25 years ago, I purchased a Dell PC, and then watched the thing rust away in front of my eyes after just 18 months. A few years later, wo…

One of Cook's 4 pillars is collaboration and that explains why Apple are getting more and more overt in their expectation for staff to return to HQ. I have a work-from-home job with decent remuneration. NOTHING can beat the work / life balance of th…

Apple are just complying with the US sanctions. Thirty five years ago, Russia gave Ukraine Chernobyl .. thanks. Now they are giving them an invasion and massacres. The neighbour from hell. Putin is putrid and should be terminated .. at once.

This is what I was waiting for. I guess I was waiting on 14" M2 but realise that 14" M1 PRO is absolutely fine. Probably get 32 GB memory as only extra.

I think the M2 is still like the M1 in that only one external monitor is supported. If two or more external monitors are required, then probably going to be waiting a while for the M2 PRO or MAX.

Would be good for AppleInsider to reply to this (or even have a separate article as I'm sure many readers are in the same boat). I'm in the market for a 14" MacBook Pro (work / home usage) and usually keep these devices for at least 5 years. I don'…

Just the 24 GB memory and a single external display are hurdles for me. Maybe I'm out-of-date with the view that overall 'speediness' is generally increased with more memory than with faster CPUs. Do the Apple M1 & M2 CPU devices change that to…
