For me, the whole point with Apple Arcade is for it to host a platform for high quality alternative games. I have zero interest in Halo, Fortnite and all those normal AAA titles. They thrive on their own, so why should they be part of Apple Arcade? …

A little weird.. but because they now can do this, they will try it out. Eventually, when the Mac experience isn’t hampered with, they might even do it? Also if the phone has USB4, expansion might be pretty decent. But given that the developer trans…

I’m excited about the hardware transition, but worried about the software transition. Some pro software will take many years to transition. Some software houses might possibly even throw in the towel. I really hope Apple is showing a very convenien…

I remember seeing a British Little Voice in 1998 about this shy singer, staring Jane Horrocks, Ewan McGregor and Michael Caine. It had a special type of magic and relevance to it. Is this some kind of American adaptation of that? This series seems n…

It’ll be interesting to see how Apple is scaling their ARM processors. Like... will there be more cores, or processors working in pairs, quad arrangements etc. Will there be integrated Thunderbolt 3, like on the Intel motherboards. What memory will …

I think a new “Xcode for beginners” for people who have been starting out with Swift Playgrounds, and now wanting to take their first step towards building their first apps, would be great on the iPad. I think focus will be on students. Full blown …

Super curious about this. I think cost and control over your own eco-system etc is one thing... but to be honest, I expect their Mac ARM processor not to be on par with Intel, but to surpass it substantially.. like ten-fold or something crazy like t…

Just thinking out loud, but I could kinda see Apple taking the iOS-to-"aMac" route, rather than MacOS-to-aMac. Apple's recent tools for bringing iOS apps to MacOS might be experimental testing grounds for taking native iOS/ iPad OS apps into a more …

Yeah, The slim keyboards are caught up in the quest for thinness, forgetting ergonomics, and even common sense I'd say. I've had the 2017 MacBook pro since... well... 2017... and it's the first Apple laptop that I can remember that I don't like. I'm…

Terrible design in my eyes. But perhaps the new "post Jony Ive team" need to start somewhere, throw a bunch of concepts, to start to circle in on something new and fresh eventually.

Looks pretty terrible to me. Computer option for phones though, I like the thought. So if the phone is $1000, and the dock with the screen is what, $500? Even at half the price of the cheapest Macbook it would seem pretty expensive.

For a moment there, because of the line break of the title, I thought it said: "iPad Pro with 'A14X' plus 16-inch" and I was like yeahhh... a 16-inch "plus" pro model for the artists/ animators!! Then I realised my misreading...

For me, it’s all about the audio quality. Cool with noise cancelling and perhaps something smart, but if the audio quality isn’t matching the $260 price tag, I’d rather go for something else. I’m very curious about the Nuraloop as an example.

I’m having a hard time believing that the tech required for making an AR headset that is meeting Apple’s vision is mature and ready. It needs to be quite radically improved compared to for instance Magic Leap’s headset. They’re pretty cool for a tec…

...they’ve deprecated and announced the planned end of life for 32-bit apps years ago, and yet people are still gonna get butthurt and whine about it when it finally happens. There's a lot of legacy apps that are not being developed anymore b…

I’m glad it’s not going to be just OLED from now on. 0LED is giving me a slight headache, due to the refresh rate, that is still visible, especially at lower brightness. It’s prominent enough on a small iPhone XS for my sensitive eyes, but an 0LED o…

Anyone knows if this will support the new iPhone 11 pro wide angle lens? I always find AR phone apps too "cramped", with the camera not being wide enough. Would be great to see new AR apps taking advantage of the wide angle lens, if that is possible.
