Let's take a quick moment to note that serial liar Heinemeier Hansson immediately took to social media to push a conspiracy theory as to why the bill wasn't brought to vote. He's also the type that thinks liars being cut out of public discourse is c…

As said prior: if a government accepts a payout to end an investigation is justice served or was this a shakedown?

This is one of those situations which doesn't really benefit consumers, it just benefits very large companies that can bankroll their own stores. Just imagine all the end user license agreements that every app will need to show, then followed by al…

I like the concept of this - but the apps are still severely lacking. If not locked into the adobe-world, then they should seriously consider Serif’s apps as an alternative. They’re infinitely more mature on the iPad and very well priced.

Is this not a perfect demonstration for why all transactions need to go through Apple? I appreciate that this is bitcoin related, but one can’t help to see the analogy between Epic’s vision for the App store and the massive level of fraud that this …

This whole affair just looks incredibly juvenile and tone deaf from Swatch. People have moved past plastic disposable fashion. The Apple Watch is not the kind of problem that Swiss watchmakers can just market their way out of - it exists because an …

All of these companies have policies against the types of destructive disinformation and hate speech which congress has issue with. They’re in front of congress because their history of poor enforcement of these policies have made them a magnet to…

There is a strong pattern to this handful of developers: - part of the app “fairness”’coalition - posts factually incorrect, sorry lets call it what it is, posts lies in an attempt to create a false narrative about apple and the app store - have all…

There are myriad reasons to skip over the bill, before jumping into conspiracy theories of back-room deals. The real scandal is how this bill even came to be in the first place, no one is asking for this legislation, and it's clearly a case of one s…

Seems deliberately designed to be as hands off and ineffective as possible - regardless of the severity of the issue.

Not in relation to this event as I don’t know the details here. But there are a lot of counterfeit Apple-branded chargers being casually sold in otherwise reputable looking stores. During my last trip to London I was in search of a charger and it op…

Intel should take a moment to pay attention to Apple’s snub of all things nvidia. Then they can revisit their current approach. Being an Apple supplier gives a company massive secondary benefits. We can see that the companies that are long time p…

A reminder that being well known or famous doesn’t make a person’s ideas correct, or give them any special legitimacy outside their field. David Hansson could have made enquires with the bank, an independent credit bureau or even a totally differe…

Maybe Google can buy it, then spend 3-5 years coming to the same conclusion. Motorola, Fitbit, HTC’s R&D div... etc.

It would be silly to make decisions solely based upon the complaints of a few. That’s more likely to have unintended consequences for the many - or in the case of fortnight: developers who can’t man or afford to run a store in a store.

This isn’t really the full story as some stores still force the £limit on Apple Pay as well. Obviously this will change with self-serve, but the £ cap is ridiculous and prevents contactless being useful for anything but minuscule shops.

Texan jurors doing what they need to do to keep their little pot of gold running... Patent reform in the country is well overdue. It’s unfair to claim damages when neither producing a product, nor even possessing the ability to produce such a produ…

They're not the brightest folk... they've spent the last few months inadvertently telling investors and ad buyers that their product's effectiveness and quality will be greatly diminished. This will obviously have an effect on investor and ad buye…

Intel has a lot to say, but no idea how to say it, or to whom they are saying it. Also why is this all so amateur, they've composited visuals over the footage which draws into question how much other crap they needed to adjust to make the products …

this guy is delusional, his twitter is bonkers The best thing to come about from this will be an independent third party telling him exactly the same.
