This, as geeky as it is, does not interest me in the slightest. I much rather see the lab or office where they actually design the processors, as in seeing schematics (even in part) of the various transistors and parasitic capacitance, etc.

That is weird. I was in Vietnam for 4 days last month and used Apple Pay at my hotel to settle my bill. It all worked flawlessly and that is before this forum post about Apple Pay launching in Vietnam. I also tried to use it at Uniglo in Hanoi, Viet…

I'm going to be missing it. I dont care about full resolution blah blah. I just want a decent photo on my Mac and Photo Stream makes it super simple for me. I am not going to iCloud Photos. I dont want my ENTIRE photo library from decades ago be upl…

I used to live in Irvine and used to visit the original Apple Store there. In fact, I think that it moved once, so there was at least 2 locations, with this new one being the third. Not too sure if this was mentioned in this advertisement for Irvine…

I bought my first ever Mac mini in 2021 -- a M1 Mac mini -- and couldn't be happier. My first desktop Mac also since 2007-2008, where I became all laptop since. Even in 2023, I do recommend the Mini to anyone.

I don't understand why reviewers continue to harp on the price of the new iPads. Sure they are more expensive and this is their greatest flaw and should not be ignored. But then reviewers add on the price of the Apple keyboard cover and the Apple p…

I absolutely love Ventura. Installed it on my M1 Mac mini and 14" MBP. No issues whatsoever.. Ventura fixes 2 main issues that I've had with macOS. 1) The system settings/preferences pane being dynamic since the original Mac OS X. I've hated it when…

My main laptop now is a 14" MBP. I love it, but my previous laptops have been all MB Airs. Why did I change to a MBP? Well, I just wanted the larger screen. I use my laptop with no external display and every inch of screen real estate is valuable. I…

I have 5 iPad apps on my M1 Mac mini and love it, 4 of them not being on the Mac store and installed iMazing. 2 of them relate to finance as they are much better than the website versions and 2 of them being chess apps. They are better on my Mac tha…

Interested in the Mac mini. Want to mount it to my LG Ultrafine 23.7" display. Any suggestions for a mount or would a hefty amount of velcro do the job?

Looks to be the best show on Apple TV. See is kind of lame. They are blind humans with built-in radar detection to avoid obstacles and with hearing far beyond ordinary. Too unrealistic to me. Their nature series is ok, but definitely not top notch …

I am a Chase user and a big JPM stock holder and I support the company in many ways, but this thing was dead in the water a long time ago. I think touting Chase Pay online is also not so smart. Chase should be encouraging users to use Apple Pay inst…

The trashcan Mac Pro was dead in the water when it came out. I said it also (not in this forum). Not because it was round, not because it had no internal expansion, not because of many things, but simply because of size. It was just too small and be…

Apple needs to stop being so cheap and put 2 ports on their charger, one USB-C for power delivery for their laptops and at least one USB-A for other things. That would have stopped so many people complaining. Sure they still cannot connect their iPh…

Now we know how much battery life the silly Touch Bar consumes. 4 watt-hours for the same overall battery life (Yes, I know that isn't the real measurement).

I remember when Corel OS, the Linux distribution came out. Everyone raved about it, how wonderful the interface was and such. Not sure what happened, but Corel still has bones.

I appreciate this man's work, but the MBP is an abomination, especially the 15''. Stop making the keys so flat (which is part of his design, form over function) and do something else on the keyboard that will add something that doesn't look like a g…

I like how the processing is done on the machine itself, not uploaded to the cloud. Hopefully, Siri is done this way so simple, basic tasks like setting the alarm DOES NOT need to have a full internet connection.

Sounds very nice and would be widely used. I find that this method of payment, partially due to its wide acceptance and very ease of use, is even better than using Apple Pay. One beep and you are done. Hope it is done soon.

Seems also to be $50 cheaper than the outgoing model. So 2'' larger and $50 cheaper with higher wattage output (85W vs 60W), makes this a consideration for me. Yes, resolution is slightly yes, but I'm not one of those freaks.
