The only way to solve this problem and make most people happy is mandating single-stall bathrooms.

The security of a Lightning connection with regard to accidental unplugging is much better than that of a USB-C connection, at least with Apple's Lightning sockets. The Lightning plug snaps into place and takes considerable force to remove; USB-C do…

The only thing missing is a Firewire 800 port. Is the OWC dock the only one that supports Firewire?

I'm using DIRECTV NOW mainly for the unlimited streaming on the AT&T wireless network. I installed an Apple TV in my travel trailer and use my phone's mobile hot spot for Internet access so that I'm not dependent on over-the-air or satellite pro…

Since I'm on AT&T for mobile access, I decided to subscribe to DirecTV Now while the $35 promotion was on so that we'd have something to watch when camping in our RV (assuming we were in range of a tower). I have to say that on AT&T's cellul…

The same people suing Apple to put any app on their phone will probably be the first ones to get hacked and then sue Apple for not doing enough to ensure security.

And Apple has certainly shown that they can't compete in markets outside of their current ones. Look at...um...smartphones back when Apple was a Mac company.

Why doesn't anybody make a combination light switch and ceiling fan control for mounting in place of a mechanical wall switch and fan speed knob? I haven't found one after much Googling.

Adding a USB-C to A adapter in the MB or MBP box seems like a no-brainer to me. USB-A is so prevalent in this day and age.

My Watch app didn't show the 3.1.1 update for my Series 1. It said that the watch had 3.1 and was up-to-date. That was last night; I haven't checked it today.

Was this update only for the Gen 2 watches? I have a Gen 1.5 and when I check for updates, the Watch app tells me that it's up-to-date with 3.1.

On a lighter note, are there any old fogies like me who read "HeathKit" everytime "HealthKit" is written?

I picked up my 15" MBP from UPS yesterday. It's the 2.6GHz model with the SSD increased to 512GB. After learning that the SSD is soldered on the motherboard, this turned out to be a good plan. I pretty much just set it up and did a little surfing, a…

I think we'll have palm-gate before then, where people are complaining about the palm rejection on the new, larger touch pad.

My CC hold is still holding and my order status has updated to Preparing for Shipment. I ordered the low-end 15" configuration upgraded with a 512GB SSD.
