The fight for the smarthome market is far from over. I'd advise people to buy accessories that work with all three (or at least two) ecosystems. Most of the products others have recommended meet this criteria.

Both August and Apple have a role to play in this. August (and other Smarthome manufacturers) need to realize that customers don't want to have 20 apps on their phone for the different devices they want to control. Apple also needs to reconsider i…

This seems like a decision made by accountants, and I doubt it will be a successful endeavor. Apple Pay (and other NFC payment methods) are just better. From the consumer's point of view, Apple Pay is extremely quick, and it doesn't give out your c…

I would caution people against using revenue alone as a benchmark. Sure, the newer iPhone sell for more, but they also cost more to manufacture. In this case gross profit would be a better measure. I have no idea if that has gone up or down on the i…

I'm all for accessibility and I think most bigger websites would be as well. However, I am always suspicious when someone is trying to launch a class action lawsuit seeking punitive damages. The big questions I have: 1) Is this a problem with the…

Awesome! iPhone thieves will now get a free car as a bonus! And if they ask Siri to navigate home they can have all my stuff too. It currently takes three different thieves to pull this off, but thanks to technological progress that will soon be ac…
