it does this on all 3 of my AppleTV's ... every other app works just fine (including HBO and Paramount+, Jamnap) ... pretty sure it's an issue with YouTube, not with the AppleTV. It did NOT coincide with the latest TVOS update.

How is it breaking the controllers? ... it seems as if the controllers aren't broken at all, but just don't work with the new version of the OS. Sometimes, when you want to use the latest software, it also requires an upgrade to your hardware.
