I may be wrong, but one way you can check is by running "top" and checking the statistics; if you're not getting many page-ins or -outs, then you've got enough RAM onboard for whatever you use your mac for.

On my machine, it is a bit faster at e.g. window resizing. Then again, that could just be because there's much less running behind the interface; I dunno if it'll slow down when they get more of it working. If Omniweb got tabbed browsing, though…
