The exact same situation happened to me as well. I got fed up with it, that I decided to take the album art off of my iPod video. Until Apple updates iTunes 7 to correct this problem, I won't be using this feature

Ok, I just compared the dimensions on the 60GB version from Amazon.com (4.1 x 2.4 x 0.6 inches) to the updated version (4.1 x 2.4 x 0.43). Everything is the same except the depth, so 60GB cases should technically work with the updated model.
