I think PSVR is ultimately doomed to fail. There's a change there may be many VR sets that compete as we slowly make our way into an age of spacial computing (assuming that's where we're heading), but I think it will come down to Meta and Apple. Whe…

foregoneconclusion said: LOL...battery life with an M2 desktop class processor is as good or better than headsets using mobile Snapdragon processors. And the weight difference is 3-4 ounces versus something like Meta Quest 3. It's certainly i…

It took Apple 4 years and 5 or 6 models (plus additional variations) for the Mac to overtake Apple II in sales. I personally think it took Apple to the Mac Plus before the Mac was truly usable for enough people to be considered a success, and the SE…

I had to roll my brand new Mac Studio back to Monterey from Ventura within 24 hours of owning it, due to SMB not working at all. It’s apparently been an issue for many people since Ventura came out (look it up), and there’s a lot more to it than thi…

I hope it’s pretty cheap, 1GB per max isn’t all that special these days. I can get that with any basic USB 3 RAID and a pair of SSDs, and I get way more than that with a single NVMe. So this sits in the middle of speed and capacity.
