Greer, you make a very valid point. I bet Apple does have some interest in Parallels...I wonder if we'll see Desktop bundled w/ every intel-mac in the future.

I think that ad is as close as we'll come to Apple officially supporting Parallels. Apples knows Parallels is good for their sales: if people have the ability to run Windows on macs, more people will buy macs for the superior hardware. but I doubt…

anyone download the new general availibility release of Parallels Desktop?

parallels definitely kicks VPC's ass. and if you plan on getting a Mactel in the future, I'd suggest dropping $50 now for parallels instead of $80 (or more?) later. Get in while the getting is good, cause this product is solid, and the GA release …

someone on here said their MB ran at 160F! HOT! i said he cooked bacon on his keyboard.

I agree, that is what the threads about and I enjoy hearing your opinion. As far as giving virtualization away "for free," well, if it's included in Leopard we'll be paying for that upgrade, so it won't be free. Interface is somewhat important, bu…

I guess it's not a huge difference in battery life either way. But I guess it shows that the fan does effect it somewhat, maybe just not significantly.

On Adium, are you able to run gmail chat? and ICQ?

can you set up Trillian on a Mac?
