Problem is, I’m not aware there is any good way to delete the data, which sucks up several GB on my iPad and MBA (it isn’t an issue on my iPhone 14 Pro Max since that doesn’t support Apple “Intelligence”).

Did he post something similar when Biden won in 2020? I’m disappointed by the obsequiousness of many billionaries and CEOs (sometimes one and the same) towards our new fascist overlord. Bezos is one example, besides Musk and Thiel. Our country is ho…

As a long-time Finale user since the early 90's with version 3.2, this is not at all surprising but very very disappointing and sad. It's been clear for at least a year that development had stagnated, no bugs were being fixed, tech support was being…

My iPhone 12 Pro hit 88% one year in and Apple would not replace the battery under AppleCare since it wasn’t 80%. It stayed at 88% until I replaced it with the 14 Pro Mac. I’m at 100% with my 14 but I replaced the entire phone under warranty a few …

Actual gynecologic surgeon here; I have no doubt something like this might be useful to virtually train to do surgical procedures. But the headline makes it sound like this would provide “lifesaving” technology and I think that’s a bit of magical an…

Was interested but no volume controls? Only six hours battery life and two additional charges? I’m sure it sounds good and I do love my old QC20’s from Bose. But honestly, when my Back Bay Audio true wireless earbuds get 8 hours on a charge, have a …

And in the same vein, it would be wonderful if when there are several networks in a building that have previously been used by that iPhone, the phone would default to the one with the strongest signal. I’m switching to a mesh network in my home all …

Was a devoted user of airmail and spark and ultimately both fell short, miserably, and I’ve been quite happy with Mail. Airmail is buggy and has terrible support and the worst interface I’ve ever seen. Spark is missing some basic features like rules…

Truth is, there is no real evidence that anything more than a $50-70 Oral-B or Sonicare basic electric toothbrush is necessary. None of these features in smart toothbrushes amount to better oral health. The only features that are helpful and proven …

Sorry that you didn’t mention Leaf, which is a great, and free, app for RSS. It has a very involved developer who regularly updates it, which is why many of us changed from Reeder (which has been poorly updated if at all in recent years and practica…

I have a late-2013 MBP and have no plans to upgrade. Whether or not the “new” keyboard has a fix for the issues that have been plaguing the earlier models and they just won’t say for legal issues, the fact remains that one cannot fix the keyboard wi…

2) You really don’t use Apple Pay or Touch ID on your Mac? TBH I use Unlox (fka MacID) which unlocks and locks from my phone. Works well.

Since twitter removed their macOS app (which hadn’t been updated in a year anyway despite a lot of protestations from many of us), I’ve been using Tweeten, which is essentially Tweetdeck but actually gets updated. I’ve tried the paid options and ult…

I have used pretty much everything out there and was very wedded to Airmail until it just got too buggy and the developers became nasty and useless. Spark isn’t (yet) all that Airmail is in terms of functionality. But it works reliably with pretty f…

I waited months to get mine via their kickstarter campaign and when I did, ended up returning less than two weeks later. Besides how easily it got scuffed, the syncing often reset th nits back to the prior sync, erasing everything I did in the inter…
