do the tracks skip that are still in itunes? make sure any options for error or skip correcting ( there is for import, not sure on burning ) are selected.

open up Disk Utility. see what is mounted. hilight & Eject the drives you don't want. You should then be able to rename the wanted drive in the Finder to whatever you want.

You can work on, save, & export Word docs, no problem there. You can edit the icons in the toolbar, there might be a save button, but "command s" shortcut keys are much faster, no mousing around. Not sure on the format painter, don't use it …

yes, those drives will not work. the mac laptops have the sudden motion sensor in them already. it will cause problems.

not sure if OS X supports that type of feature on a NAS/SAN setup, or it's a terrible bug. can you move or copy a folder to the NAS with a lable already? does it stick? got applecare on the machine? might try their support on this one.

Tried booting holding the SHIFT key? Any help? try installing & running Onyx, it's free.. The app will do a SMART test & verify the hard disk isn't having file system issues. Run EVERYTHING from the Maintainence tab. Restart the computer…

stay away from drives that feature sudden motion sensors. Macs already have this & will cause problems (kernel panics) WD & certain seagates feature this.

The Mac will only format the iPod as HFS+. to keep Fat32, you will have to restore with a PC & then move / sync with the mac.

The express can be bought with the machine as a CTO I'd say go for it, based on the specs - From the logic 8 page: Minimum Requirements to Install All Applications • Mac computer with a 1.25GHz or faster PowerPC G4 processor (PowerPC G5…

pull battery, unplug ac adapter, hold power button for 20 sec, put the battery back in & try to reboot. hold cmd option PR at the chime, if you get it.

i don't think WDS will work with anything else but apple products if you have an AEBS, that's been my impression, not sure if it's 100% true. I've done bridge mode before with AE & belkin g router, but that's when I got them linked via ether…

short answer - no. you need to buy the ram the system ships with. if it runs at all, it will run at the slower speed, no faster.

you can try the utilities from prosofteng.com called drive genius & data rescue.

DVI does not support HDCP at all. best bet is to rent a movie from iTunes & test it with the G5, but I'm thinking it may not work. the current mini will or should be more than fast enough for whatever you want to do. think they are sluggi…
