I'll be a bit disappointed if the first AS Macs come with the same designs to be honest. Hoping to get it all together, Apple Silicon, a 14" redesign, mini LED. My body is ready.

So, not even trying to make a shipping ARM mac chip, a two year old tablet SoC translating a more complicated x86 ISA to ARM still performs better than the Qualcomm SQ1 in the Surface Pro X running native, or just above a 2012 iMac, which while old …

There were some things we lost in going back, too. I liked how premium they looked with the per-keycap LED glowing under the key marking rather than bleeding out under the key cap, we're back to the latter now with only edge lit LEDs lighting a mesh…

Really hoping ProMotion makes it in! Sounds like Apple will either go whole hog or not have it at all, which is a shame. If there was a toggle that gave up say 15% of your battery life to turn it on I'd still be in for it, it's been great since th…

I want a 14" mini-LED Macbook Pro with Tiger Lake so bad, been holding out on my 15" 2014 Pro through the butterfly generation...But at that point the ARM switch will also be breathing down our necks. Maybe WWDC will shed some light. If they said …

Excellent. India has it's own problems but at least it's a democracy that generally over time moves in the right direction, momentary setbacks are just that. Far rather them than totalitarian China. It's a shame that that relationship was soured earl…

Word is they're also making a first party gamepad. If the price remains the same it should be with the A12X+gamepad in an Arcade themed bundle, that's getting into serious microconsole power there.

A bunch of companies have put out terrible ERs recently and rallied on the news. Prediction: Predictions will be wrong and no one knows anything.

8 performance cores, 4 efficiency. That's going to be a monster. On 5nm, perhaps that's even for the 14" MBP, since on the Intel side we should also be getting up to 6 cores on there.

Interested to see the impact a megacap tech giant can make into the healthcare space. Take cancer research, yearly R&D spends are on the order of only a few billions, and progress comes, but very slowly. This has impacted me personally as rece…

YES please! Ever since starting to use Flux even years before it was integrated into operating systems, the keyboard being pure white at night was always a bother. Touchbar too.

More waiting for the 14" I guess. Maybe the 13" is for the cheaper two TB3 port models, and the 14" is still coming? Or maybe it just waits all the way to mini LED at the end of the year.

I'd be more interested in Renoir making it into Apple laptops! At 50W vs 90 it still destroys Intel, tuned down to the 45W Apple needs for the 16 it would still do so https://www.digitaltrends.com/laptop-reviews/asus-rog-zephyrus-g14-review/ htt…

This sounds more interesting for the iPad Smart Keyboard than for the Mac
