Too small, and too limited, for the price. For $400, you can buy a basic iPad ($329), Square Contactless and Chip reader ($49), Square Magstripe reader ($10) and a cheap stand ($10), and have WAY more functionality. Oh, and you can stay at the standard 2.7% WITHOUT a 10¢ swipe fee. Plus, as a user of Square for my business, Square Register is a LOT more functional when used in landscape.

I think Apple is slowly moving everything to USB-C to Lightning. It's already been proven that Lightning can handle high-speed charging when using the USB-C to Lightning cable and a MacBook charger to charge new iPhones. I'm still betting that's what all this BS about the iPad Pro moving to USB-C is all about. It's going to be a USB-C to Lightning cable with a higher wattage charger included. Why would Apple care about using a wired spec for external monitor support? Make customers buy an Apple TV 4K, and just do it wirelessly. Apple is moving everything to wireless, so why would they completely change the connector again when Lightning does what it needs to do? As for USB-C showing up in an iPhone, forget about it. It's a physically larger port, and Apple won't sacrifice internal space or design to switch to CLUMSY USB-C. My MacBook has it, and I HATE it. It's nowhere near as nice as plugging in a Lightning cable, period.

If you believe Faux "News" is true and accurate, then you have no clue what's really going on in the world around you. Go back under your rock. 

In all honesty, ALL major "news" media outlets are terrible. They're all run by various parts of government, and NOBODY should be watching ANY of them. 

Today will be my first whole day with my XS Max, so we shall see how it does versus my X. I'm not overly concerned with the 5W charger, as I usually only recharge at night, and I do so on a cheap wireless charger. Even with the X, I could typically make it through a whole day.

I'm getting impatient waiting for my Max to get here Tuesday, as Verizon's online system screwed up my order. I selected in-store pickup for yesterday. The confirmation email shows a store order number, but when I got there, they had no record of it, and said it's being shipped for Tuesday delivery. Though the woman I spoke to on the phone couldn't do anything to correct it, they did give me 25% off my current bill to make up for it. At least that gives me back the $30 that is now required to be paid when placing the order for upgrade, instead of billing it as they have always done before.
