I finally did a screen replacement on an iPhone instead of a battery replacement. It was only an iPhone 8 but it was very difficult because of the tiny screws. Smallest was around 1.3 mm, which is gone if it falls off a table. I magnetized my ifixit tools and still came close to losing screws. I’m not even going to try the latest ones, they require expensive tools to do everything. 

Honest thing to do for Ireland would be for them to “gift” Apple the $14B for providing them with employment and a steady national income. As for the EU, I still look at that group as a cartel and has no business being in business. If the EU wants to act as a country, then consolidate every EU member “country” into states with much less power. Treat them like USA states instead of (non) sovereign countries.  

Just FYI, it’s not affecting only iPhones, it’s affecting other manufacture's phones so I doubt it has anything to do with the cellular Apple Watch issue. 

I have no need to purchase or get a different calendar app. Apple’s works fine for me. It’s integrated with other Apple apps and there’s no reason to mess with others. 

"Apple could solve these issues by using security and other proprietary "add-ons" in iMessage the way others like WhatsApp, Signal, and Google do." Why should Apple add add-ons to Messages when Messages works just fine? Messages isn't the problem, Google garbage is the problem. It will constantly be loaded with security issues because Google doesn't really care about security, it only cares about grabbing personal information and selling it to the highest bidder. Everyone knows this is Google's business model and it will never change.
