  • 'The Tragedy of Macbeth' is a horror story, says filmmaker Joel Coen

Yeah you really have to listen and pay attention to understand it, but it was an amazing production.

  • New Mac Pro in Q4 2022 expected to cap off Apple Silicon transition

Apple kicked off its Apple Silicon transition in November 2022

    2020

Isn’t this “rumor” rather pointless when we all know Apple said it would be a two year transition, which ends Fall of 2022, and all assumed the Mac Pro would be the last system to make the transition.

Apple is going to wait until there’s enough M1X SoCs stocked up before they announce the M1 “Duo” and M1 “Quad” based systems. Especially after they release the larger iMac which will surely eat into that stock.

  • Apple uses Messages colors to bully Android users, says Google

The BIGGEST difference (and arguably the most important), between the blue and green bubbles… is that it shows which messages are end to end encrypted and which are not. All blue bubbles are encrypted. Green are not.

This is human stupidity at its finest.  The selfish, moronic, conspiracy-loving anti-vaxxers are putting people's live at risk.  They are just too stupid and ignorant to accept it.  I'm all for personal choice and keeping the government out of my body, but what's it going to take to get these people to understand that COVID is here to stay until they get vaccinated?!

One can only hope that Darwin will take care of things, but even then... that's years down the road.
The vaccine does not stop you from spreading or getting covid.  It does lessen the effects if you get it.  So I fail to see how someone  who has concerns about the covid vaccines and is not vaccinated is any more at fault for the spread.

Repeat:  The vaccine does not prevent the spread of covid.  It does lessen symptoms once you get it.

     (Yes I am vaccinated).

The chances of spreading the virus and getting sick don't just "lessen", they drop dramatically. If the virus cannot propagate in your body, the less chance there is of you passing it along to someone else before your own immune system can catch and neutralize it. Sure there is a slight chance you could potentially pass it along, but it's rather slim - nothing is 100% effective.

  • Apple Silicon iMac Pro coming early 2022, says leaker

M1 Max2 or whatever based on A15 should be done in time to launch this. Double the core Counts. Increase allowable power draw. Maintain two efficiency cores for mundane tasks to keep usage low when power isn’t needed. But make sure the thing has the ability to eat when we need it to. It’s a DESKTOP.

Should be two more M1's in the pipeline, still based on A14 cores; M1 Ultra, and M1 Extreme. Just as there are still two more systems that need to transition to Apple silicon. The new higher end iMac will be released this Summer and get a binned "Ultra" (12+4/48) and the Mac Pro will be released in the Fall with full "Ultra" (16+4/64) and "Extreme" (32+8/128)

M2 will be based on the A16 and released in the Fall. I'd guess in new 12" and 14" MacBooks and an iPad Pro.

In the meantime, this Spring, MacBook Air will a colorful update. Mac mini will get M1 Pro/Max upgrade options. Highest-end 24" iMac may get a low-end "binned" M1 Pro (6+2/14)
