I'm closing this thread and sinking it. I don't even know where to begin with some of these posts. I suggest a bunch of you re-read our commenting guidelines before you put yourself in a very bad position. This is why we can't have nice things.

Have you tried restarting the app? The subscription status is synced (along with your favorites) to the active iCloud account on the device. Maybe check to make sure that's the same as before. You shouldn't see any ads in the app until that subscription runs out. If you need further assistance could you email priceguides@appleinsider.com or PM me so we don't clutter up the forum thread?

I corrected the problem with the tips, should be functioning correctly in the cases where it previously was throwing an error.
