If you don't need speed, then there's no compelling reason to upgrade. My mom uses an iPad 2 plugged into the wall to draw, paint and browse the web. It does everything she wants. Unless the screen dies, there's no reason for her to upgrade. Security? Not one person I know - ever - since iPads have existed has ever had a security problem.Mike Wuerthele said:

So I guess Apple only sold a thousand Mac Pro's then.Apple doesn't care about the EXTREME pro users because there are maybe a thousand of those in the US - hardly enough to dedicate development time toward. So buy a fully loaded iMac or move to Windows.
