  • Google Fi expanding VPN service from Android to iPhone

Abbreviated: You’re trusting Google with access to all your traffic.

The service will protect you from non Google monitoring on public WiFi, which if you’re in a place like China, is definitely better than no VPN though.

I don't think anyone commenting up until now had bothered looking into Project F, how it works, and how it increases your privacy.

You’re embarrassing yourself with lack of understanding of how a VPN works and taking shots at people who do understand.  Hint: Notice in your link a reference to protecting you from third party monitoring.  There’s a reason they say third party and not “any”.

Apple Google had only provided its Project Fi VPN to Android users”

Running all net traffic through a Google product is increasing security? Out of the pan and into the fire!

  • Mark Zuckerberg says 'competitive interests' drive Apple's push for privacy

First you can not steal what was freely given to you. Next he was only able to use peoples private information because most people do not care about their privacy and what FB and others were doing with information.
Sure you can, and that’s what he’s doing, because of lack of transparency about the amount of personal data being traded. Agree a lot of people would keep using FB because they don’t care, but a lot of people keep using because they aren’t aware of the trade offs.

Apple isn’t saying you can’t use FB, they are just pushing for transparency so the customer can make an informed decision.

Zuck hitting the gas on FBs long-standing disinformation campaign to cover what should have been an illegal business from the beginning.  He’s been busted before with his hand in the cookie jar stealing and selling user data, yet shamelessly tries to claim the high ground.

His whole business is so predicated on deceit that his only option is to go scorched earth on Apple for exposing it.  It’s not like he can pivot to an honest business, so he’ll fight and fight.

    Please stop using FB.
