  • Microsoft ends iOS xCloud testing, launching as Android exclusive

I've said it before, and I'll say it again, Apple has demonstrated over and over that gaming is not a priority for them.  Not even a secondary or tertiary.

And while I, as a gamer, would prefer that Apple pay more attention to this market, that strategy seems to be working for them, and there are quite a few others for whom gaming is a primary, and those others are doing a great job.

  • Apple CEO Tim Cook agrees to testify in House antitrust investigation

Legislators just want a bigger slice of the pie, and are fishing for justification.  If they don't find any justification, they'll just make something up.

A lawyer friend of mine claims that the Sherman Anti-Trust act is so broad, and in some cases contradictory, that the government can justify prosecuting almost any company in America with something from it, no matter how hard the company tries to obey.  It's a hammer the government uses to threaten companies.

  • Apple's take of gaming market suffers due to COVID-19

Virtually every single entry on that list above Apple is either a full-focus gaming developer, distributor, or publisher (e.g. Valve), or has a major division devoted to gaming (e.g. Microsoft), while Apple is primarily a general computing product and services company.  While Apple does pay attention to mobile gaming, I've posted before that I think they don't really care about gaming on Mac OS, and I don't see much evidence that they'd be heartbroken if even mobile gaming weren't a runaway record shattering thing.

Not sure this is an apples to apples, or even oranges, comparison.

  • Apple's AC Wellness offering free genetic testing to employees

Accessing private patient health care data (name, address, diagnosis, treatment, prognosis, etc.) like Google has without the patient's knowledge or permission and without any medical need is illegal -- no matter how many excuses you make!

As someone who's worked with the HIPAA regs since before they were enacted as law, no it's not, at least not in the sense you seem to be claiming.

It's standard practice these days to have patients sign a HIPAA disclosure notice that informs patients that their data may be shared with other parties, and that those parties include not only other doctors and medical professionals, but also partners, for billing, analysis, and a host of other reasons.  So all those people whose information google has have likely already given their permission, and the provider no longer need notify the patient of each specific information sharing that happens.

Don’t ever finance anything — even at zero percent — other than real estate or education. If you don’t have the money in the bank, you can’t afford it. Financing will only dig a deeper hole. Merry Christmas
A lot of haters about your post. We live in a debtor society that is built on a house of cards. It’s called living within your means, folks.
There's a lot of haters because the specific advice in the OP's post is...less than ideal.  The criticism is entirely justified, even if there are some people who will get a zero interest loan and still end up paying interest because something happened.
