Exactly. Which is why I've been clamouring for years now that Apple has to STOP giving unit sales at earnings call, they always get dinged by WS for it, in spite of better revenues and profits. The unit numbers are usually downgrade fodder when they're not met and rarely reason of the rare upgrade even if exceeded.

Let WS ponder on revenues, profits and other dollar issues relevant to AAPL, just like all the other companies. For those of us who would like to gloat, Apple can still release unit sales but deferring shortly after IDC & Gartner continual downward guesstimates to further demonstrate that they don't get it either.

A great move by Apple to assuage all the crybabies. My 6S was crashing at least once a week before the fix and hasn't done it once since the fix. I was very happy and will certainly not touch that switch. Well, I might want to prove a point and try it out one day taking videos at home and having a charger nearby.

All the whining idiots that will flip the switch and turn back their phones to 'sudden crashing mode' might finally understand that Apple was right all along. But of course there will also be the usual unavoidable complainers that will bitch that their phone now crashes unexpectedly while failing to feel any speed increase. Why, I even suspect we might have some here shortly well before the actual update.

Embedded ? So how is that going to work, change your luggage or headphones every year when you need to re-Tile or will they finally let users change their battery without throwing the whole unit away ?

If you are in such dire need of self-expression and verbal diarrhea you might consider MacRumors or Facebook to find someone who might care.

Sorry guys I usually don't feed the trolls but I'm just so fed up with all these navel-gazing narcissists who think that Apple should just serve their specific taste and that nothing else matters. For full disclosure, although I find the ladies charming I'm not particular about either one but as a consumer I respect other people's choices and as an AAPL investor I'm glad Apple does too.
