Apple 'AirTags' and iPad Pro event now rumored for March 23
fred1 said:jdb8167 said:If AirTags aren't announced at the next event can we stop talking about them?eightzero said:These air tag thingies could be a real disaster for Apple if they screw it up. That anti-stalking stuff has to be flawless. Apple has made privacy its signature, marquee product and anything that is rumored to or even alleges that it has failed will make antenna gate look laughable. If "don't hold it like that" turns to "be sure you check your notifications to see if someone with a restraining order has been watching you in the last few minutes" Apple is...well...dooooomed.
I dunno, I mean are there a bunch of horror stories about tile trackers? I live under a rock so this is an actual question. Either way I imagine Apple would do much better than tile at security and ease of use.

Apple nears 'Apple Car' deal with Kia, first model might be fully autonomous enterprise ve...
A couple years ago, someone in these forums suggested that Apple’s first “car” would be a shuttle for employees.I always thought that was a pretty clever thought with lots of advantages.A- predefined routes = minimal risk, yet real world experimentation, data gathering and refinement.
B- low initial production = ironing out manufacturing kinks in ramp-up to full production in a few years
C- learn regulatory ropes without having it affect customers
D- probably more but those were the big ones that come to mind. -
