Observation: Apple or AI says the words "Mac Pro" and the AI forums assplode.

You pro dudes/ dudettes are a passionate lot. And bless you all, 'cause it makes great reading.
Haha....well yes it brings out the armchair engineers, executives, and industrial designers. I didn't know there were so many experts here yet I don't see them applying for a position at Apple.
Hey now, I actually am an industrial designer!

  • How to start copying and pasting between your Mac and iPad using Universal Clipboard

Handoff works for me the vast majority of the time. I find it very nice to be able to copy on my iPad or Phone and then paste on my Mac. For example I may be editing a document on my iPad, copy some text and then paste it into the PowerPoint or Word file I have open on my Mac.
Last year we bought the flashlight division of a company. We got all their assets, sort of. The instruction manuals were all in pdf. Rather than retyping them I just used an ocr app on my iPhone, copied the generated text, pasted into notes, made corrections to any typos, then pasted into indesign. Copy paste worked pretty much flawlessly the whole time.

  • Apple HomePod vs. Google Home Max: Which high-end smart speaker is right for you?

I have an old LG 1woofer/2tweeter system plugged into my Mac @ home. Not sure how big the woofer is, but I'm sure HomePod will blow it away. Still works fine for now though, but when it finally croaks the Google system will not be on my list.

Edit: PS can't wait for the iFixit teardown!

  • Video: How Apple's Intelligent Tracking Protection in Safari works

It’s even worse than what this article outlines. I’m a designer and was playing around with creating custom textures in Procreate. I wanted to make a custom bark texture. So I image searched “bark” with DDG - I’m fairly certain, it’s my default - (in safari). I used an image on the second or third row & Never thought another thing about it until a few days later. When I got an email... to my personal freelance email from a company called “Bark”. The aim of bark (supposedly, I’ve never contacted them yet) is to match designers with people who need designers to design things for them (for next to nothing no doubt). Somehow it dawned on me about my search a few days earlier. I went back to safari and did an image search with DDG. scroll scroll..... nothing seemed to pop out as unusual. So researched with g!... scroll scroll......

    and and there it was.

amongst nothing but pictures of bark. A little logo I recognized from a bizarre, unsolicited email. A little icon of a dog barking.

i don’t know what’s going on there, but it’s incredibly powerful, insideous, and creepy as shit. I don’t know if Apple has solved for this thing exactly, but I applaud their efforts in this area and perhaps they will get to this type of spying in the future if this measure is not effective against it yet.

  • Video: Everything you can do with the Apple Pencil

I had to watch the video just to see if new user Hypraktiv has a point (which he doesn't; unnamed video guy sounds like the typical YouTube guy--or better).
And he doesn't do the annoying cut/crossfade thing to cover forkups.

BTW, Astropad is AWESOME sauce, and it works via USB too. And you don't have to get Astropad Studio (subscription model) YET, there's still regular Astropad which is a one time $30.
