    Wow. Clumsy.
This is Cook's Apple: dongles and adapters.
    Please, please please...
Buy a Samsung and be done with it. Move to the Android forums where your views will be in good company...
    And f**k off
Personally I don't find getting rid of the headphone jack a big deal. Some people do however and their points (like mac_128 wrote) are valid. Your response is childish.

  • Apple reportedly planning $1B database center and R&D facility in Vietnam

    macseeker said:
Yeah, Apple having centers around the world. Wonder how Cook likes his dog meat. He should think of the US first. I wonder what type of software (spy) traps will be in the apps developed from Vietnam. Not happy at the moment.
Why should Apple bring international profits back to the U.S. instead of keeping those profits in lower tax bracket countries where the profit was made? They make a lot of profit in the U.S. and they keep that money in the U.S. I'm glad you are not an Apple board member because you have no idea how companies stay in business (hint: it's called profit). As for Vietnam spy trap apps, Vietnam app developers can create spy trap apps now for the app store but they won't make it past the walled garden app checkers. Why would opening a data centre in Vietnam suddenly create a torrent of "Spy Trap Apps" in the app store? Please spend a little more than 1 second of time thinking before you type such nonsense.

  • Rumor: Second-gen Apple Watch to feature new, thinner 'One Glass Solution' touchscreen

Let go of what? A logical rumor that we've reported on a few times before?

It's not logical, nor a rumor. You picked up on a musing by the WSJ, who wouldn't know otherwise, and turned it into more than it is because...again...It's just something that you keep repeating that you would like to see, despite how illogical it is for an Apple Watch. This is not a standalone product. It is from top to bottom designed as an iPhone accessory, and that is not changing. It is fundamental to the product. Apple has gone to great length to leverage the mandatory connection to iPhone and avoid redundant features (things like GPS, LTE) crippling the Apple Watch.
I'm glad we have Turbo who can speak for the entire world and tell us what's logical or not and knows Apple's future product plans of what they will or won't do. Who needs an explanation when all you have to do is just say "illogical" and people should believe you?

Yes the current product is designed as an iPhone accessory. However future Apple Watch models that can be standalone with GPS and cell connectivity is a very logical step. Lots of runners or people at the gym don't want to carry their phone when exercising. It's called forward thinking and miniaturization of technology. It's been going on for the past 30+ years.

  • Australian banks say Apple Pay is anticompetitive, appeal to anti-trust regulators

Develop an app for Android. Use Android wallet. Use CurrentC. There's lots of availability for competition out there. Apple built their walled garden for a purpose so if you don't want to play in their garden by their rules, you can always play in the Android cess pool or build your own mobile phone and payment ecosystem. Suck it up princesses.

A couple of other things they want:
    1. The ability to insert an app between Amazon and all their customers so they don't have to pay Amazon any money.
    2. The ability to sell their own burgers at all McDonald drive thru windows without having to pay McDonalds any money.
    3. The ability to have their own cars and sales people at all Ford dealerships without having to pay Ford any money.
