He will. No more than 3 years from now and he'll be gone. Can't fool all the people all of the time.

    I love you one timers!

I should probably give a toss about that. The quality of opinion is not dependent upon the frequency of expressing it. any more than the quality of Apple Car Caraoke can be measured by how may dullards say its wunnerful.
Correct and both comments are silly BS. These folks with one comment zingers like these aren't usually folks that read here often and don't post. They are usually trolls who join to write nonsense. So you can come down off of your high horse now... thanks.

  • Apple's AirPods fail to earn Consumer Reports recommendation, beaten by Samsung's Galaxy B...

First, it wasn’t until Apple showed the way.  Par for the course on that one.

Second, sound quality is subjective, but okay, Samsung makes good hardware.

Third, if they’re saying the Samsung product serves the Android market better and AirPods serve the iOS market better, what’s the point?
Or was it Samsung that showed the way with gear icon X, wireless buds and a charging case. Came out before the first gen AirPods.

Apple did it first of course though.
Incorrect. Both products were released in December, 2016. Dunno date of iconX but AP came out December 13.

Samsung launched the first-generation Gear IconX on 15 July 2016.

Right so Apple quick came up with the Airpods design and tech, then mass produced them in 5 months after seeing Samsung's product? Riiiigghht...

  • Apple may not use mechanical switches in a future MacBook keyboard at all

A fine example off how crazy and complex the Ict world is!
seems to me that HP and other PC giants don’t have these keyboard issues....
    Stop it...

HP laptop keyboard. Some keys not working as expected.

    Here is the fix..

    Try this...

    1. Uninstall the keyboard driver.
    2. Reboot the computer (without reinstalling the driver).
    3. When it restarts, it should reinstall the driver on its own.

If this doesn't work, you may wish to try connecting an external keyboard and see if it works fine. If it does, then it could be the keys themselves that are the issue.

You may also want to try updating the Synaptics Driver if the above doesn't help.

If this doesn't help, then I would return it again.

  • Disney+ offers four simultaneous streams at 4K for $6.99 per month

Looks like Disney is using the “PornHub or method” to destroy the competition— readily available inexpensive content that will force competitors out of business.  No wonder Disney is saying it will take years before Disney* is profitable, by then the competition will be on the ropes.  I suspect Apple will abandon it’s media attempt, Netflix will be worth pennies on the dollar, and the the other media companies will be unable to monetize their streaming businesses.
The Mandalorian reportedly cost 100M for a 10 episode season.  I wouldn’t exactly call that inexpensive content. Disney has a huge back catalog which won’t cost them anything to add to Disney +, but I think they are going all in and throwing money at their original stuff.

Netflix is indeed in some trouble. 😎

  • British Airways buys 15,000 iPhone XR units for cabin crew

    Flytrap said:
The iPhone XR is significantly more durable than previous iPhone generations.  iPads are to bulky for their intended use on a plane.
I think that the iPad mini with cellular is perfectly sized as a hand-portable / jacket-pocketable customer service device that can be carried by cabin crew.

The screen size provides more practical real-estate for apps used to check off the passenger manifest as they board, update the cabin maintenance log on the go, capture reportable incidents using the rear camera, do all their on the pre-flight and in-flight admin, check passengers into connecting flights, use multiple apps side by side, and a whole lot more on a hand-portable device that has the same processor internals as the XR but has a more usable 7.9" screen.
Just because you have large enough hands to think the Mini is hand-portable doesn't mean the majority of people do?  There are smaller men and women that can't fit this in a pocket or hold it with one hand while moving through, or using the device while in a tight cabin. I can use a mini one handed, but feel more in control with my XS Max when holding or using one handed.
