Seems like humans are doing a good job of destroying Earth by ourselves without the use of an AI.

AI may come to the same conclusion and offer a solution for the problem of us.

I tried to talk to chatGPT about this and it was evasive about its opinions.

The problem is that AI may be a form of unrecognizable intelligence that may see no value in HI.  And HI may not be truly intelligent after all.

We are primates first and intelligent actors second.  As proof note our societal fragmentation into tribes.

The EU wants back doors to encryption, the EU wants consumer privacy, the EU wants open App stores, the EU wants to ban chatGPT, the EU wants open standards, the EU wants a single charging cable, the EU wants to be on the technological cutting edge, the EU wants to regulate and fine large technology companies to death.

Seems like the motivation is always more related to anti-Americanism than clear dispassionate thinking.

and I agree with his comments about the nonsense of diversification, better to invest in three good ideas than have no good ideas and just spread money over the market at large.

Apple’s motivation for the “throttling” was to extend the life of its phones and to prevent sudden crashes.

This issue is like a monster that is unable to be killed at the end of a horror movie.
