Ping 2.0? Apple Music revamp rumored to downplay Connect social network feature
If artists instead had total, and instantaneous control of the distribution of their tracks. For instance: "Post this crazy track I just made, and make it available at Apple Music, SoundCloud, but not iTunes. And tweet and instagram about it." next month.. "Post this EP I just made on ALL networks."
Also if artists could stream performances live, hassle free, no questions asked, no mysterious Apple registration process. Also allow in-app tickets. Then when it's done, post the stream at the user's platform of choice.
There's a lot of things to solve for musical artists. Connect didn't really solve anything. -

Motor Trend spotlights 'Apple Car' development in June cover story

FBI reportedly paid 'gray-hat' hackers, not Cellebrite, for zero day exploit in San Bernardino iPho
The most remarkable information about this whole thing, to me, is that FBI more or less has told the world that they have no in house intelligence. They appear really awkward. I mean, I would have assumed that the FBI had tons of in-house black hats operating for only FBI's own interests. Now they're basically telling the world that the most famous federal Byreau of investigation is incompetent. They've totally lost their iconic status after this. Not very smart... -
App update suggests Apple Pencil support coming to rumored 9.7" iPad Pro
The update went down, and they now sent out an email to their customers.
Here it is:Hello,
Astropad is currently inaccessible on the App Store, we are working to resolve this situation as soon as possible.
We will be in touch as soon as the situation is resolved.
Something went wrong with the update process of the App Store. If you have Astropad installed on your iPad, don't do anything. You will be fine.
Depending on which version you have installed your iPad, you may need a different Astropad for Mac:
Download Astropad for Mac v1.3
Download Astropad for Mac v1.4
Apologies for the inconvenience we are working as fast as we can to resolve the situation,
Matt, Giovanni & MalyseI think what would really help Astropad was the release of a true USB3 connection kit. They're struggling with USB2 speeds. It's not optimal the way it works now. Too much data on too little bandwidth.
