I saw some YouTubers who did comparisons of DIY air filters with box fans, like Corsi-Rosenthal boxes. They always compared them against the BlueAir 211i Max and 311i Max. So I just bought the BlueAir, instead of messing around with DIY versions. 

I have a 311i Max and it works great as long as you can live with the Blueair app, which is pretty good actually. There is some experimental read-only support for HomeKit via Home Assistant, but it's limited. It would sure be nice if BlueAir supported Matter.

Preview ProTip: you can open two documents on screen side by side, open up the thumbnail sidebars, and move pages from one document sidebar to another. Modifier keys apply, e.g Command-drag to move rather than copy. The sidebars are very useful and have many undiscoverable functions.

I bought my Magic Trackpad 2 so long ago, sometime around 2016, the rechargable battery is almost dead. I hoped Apple would ship a new USB-C model before mine died completely. That is a pretty darn good lifetime. As always, Apple products have a low TCO.
