Incorrect. The internal memory bandwidth of a Mac Studio M2 is several times that of any MacBook M4. The SSD speed is astonishing, nothing like it could ever be achieved on a laptop. A fast CPU/GPU means nothing if you don't have a system board that can handle that level of performance.

I invested heavily in a Mac Studio M2 Ultra with 4TB of SSD, correctly predicting that it would be a long time before it was dethroned as Speed King. I was correct. 

That was a trip down memory lane, I remember selling those RasterOps cards and 21" color monitors. I forgot about the old 8100 series, I had an 8100/110 and it was supposed to be a hot rod video machine but it was a total lemon. Better to forget it. I have an old Apple 30" Cinema Display and I've been looking for one of those Dual-DVI adapters for ages. Better to forget it.

If Apple doesn't make it, Someone like Jeff Bezos will.

What about Cinerama? Vision Pro would be perfect for films like 2001: A Space Odyssey.
