Thanks for this...It seems Apple defaults volunteering our onboard and private information to iCloud...I just turned off more than a dozen apps that had been unilaterally 'on'...Is Apple becoming as predatory as Facebook...?

I have always tried to use local sync and backups vs anything iCloud on principle...Unfortunately local sync issues with contacts and calendars in macOS have seemed ongoing.Have TM backups of individual emails also become more onerous for recovery...?

To me the eGPU capability has been a bonus being easily upgradable and is it still with an RX 6950XT comparable to an M3 Ultra GPU...?That along with 32 bit app capability running Mojave / Vega 56 can it offer iMac Pro like legacy digital asset access and easy virtualization of Windows for those that need it...?I also still have a 2010 i7 mini maxed out with the dual drive bays and discrete GPU, a favourite design for its upgradability...
