Apple users supportive of privacy measures, but open to ad tracking

Tim Cook says privacy 'one of the top issues of the century'
Privacy should be non-negotiable.
And the moment the new feature is available it gets turned on. I pay plenty for my internet connectivity and for content via subscriptions- advertisers and data miners can go to hell. I hate intrusive advertising, which is most of it.
And Facebook has no ground to stand on. They could go away tomorrow and I do not think the world would be a worse place because of it. -
Apple's iOS 14 integrates new Messages security sandbox called BlastDoor
I would like to see Apple give users more control over what comes through on Messages.
They also need to improve the sync between devices on the same account. When you delete a message on one device it should delete on all. When a spam shows up and I delete it on my iPad or iPhone it does not always disappear from my watch and had to be deleted manually.
I would like to see a whitelisting option on messages. -
Microsoft partners with GM subsidiary Cruise on self-driving cars
I do not want a self driving car and moreover do not want to pay for the crap it will take to make a car self driving. Pretty sure I am not the only person who feels this way.
Then there is the whole problem with data congestion. These systems depend upon steaming data and we all know most urban areas have crap data rates because of too many straws in the margarita glass. That is only going to get worse over time and a lot of 5G will not be well suited to dense urban areas.
I work in the medical field and have to drive in some really randy weather. I am pretty confident in my abilities and judgement in my AWD vehicle but have absolutely zero faith in any automated system in inclimate weather. -
