I have not seen the problems reported with keyboards but I have avoided Apple keyboards for desktop use for some time now. Apple keyboards are unavoidable on laptops, but completely avoidable on my iPad Pro and desktop Macs.

Tell Phil their is no substitute fro a physical power button or escape key. My only gripe with my iPad Pro is the crappy way they have it shut off.

It surprises me that Apple has not included FaceID in the newer Mac laptops. It does not seem like it would be that difficult a thing to do.

It looks like a nice laptop if the larger sized units are your thing. I recently bought a MacBook Air which is more to my needs.

I do doubt the claimed battery life. I have never seen an Apple laptop live up to the claimed battery life and have owned a bunch over the years.

Meanwhile, on issues other than her sexual orientation/identity...

I hope she cleans house at Apple retail as the stores I have been in recently are not staffed by the most stellar of people.

There was once a time when the best thing about Apple Retail was the people- they were top notch, knew the products and were customer first. That is not the way it is these days.

When I went to get my iPhone 11Pro the store was a dumpster fire and at the front of a long line of customers waiting to pick up the phones they had already paid for was a cabal of employees staring at their own devices, ignoring customers and jabbering about stuff far removed from Apple Retail. Ms Thang quite loudly stated “she was ‘pose to be on break a long time ago” and sashayed past a long line of customers behind a rope line.

We did not even get two snaps and a swirl.

Tim, this is your company.

I am sorry but the throwaway culture within Apple goes directly against the “green” image they want to project.

These things cost roughly what I paid for a nice set of Bowers & Wilkins OTE headphones a couple of years ago that will last for many times the lifespan of these things. They also sound a gazillion times better.

The “new” eero is a degraded version. The old unit is now marketed as a step up.
