I bought a new Mac mini when announced and am still awaiting a new Pro Mac that is hopefully not a styling exercise like the trashcan. Money is just sitting in the checking account awaiting a decent headless Mac workstation. Pretty much done with Apple laptops- I have an iPad Pro and will probably get a Surface Pro at some point.

The mini is nice but is crippled with vampire video. I am so far underwhelmed by the eGPU options.

Plex yes, ads in any form - no.

Seems everyone is determined to push ads in your face. I see ads as the scourge of our time, from “naming rights” to in app advertising. Even PBS which gets tax money and billions in tax exempt donations in the form of memberships, pushes “enhanced” underwriting- code for advertising.

There is no free lunch and I do not mind paying for ad free content. I do not want to pay for content and be served ads.

Bertrand Serlet is over at Parallels. Hope that does not change.

Would be nice to see FaceTime added to the Apple TV.

Only Apple would have the cojones to make a cheap plastic pencil that expensive and generally useless.

I have one of the originals and it sits in the bottom of a laptop bag unused. A good stylus/pencil would be appreciated  and neither the one I own or the new one seem to be worth the trouble or expense.
