PayPal is one to talk. They steal money directly from their customers, ban them, then talk about "security" like it's an excuse for blatant fraud and robbery. The big banks are all awful too. Apple is the good guy here and the EU is once again overstepping.

The USB-C ports will likely be limited to USB 2 just like the Lightning to USB-A adapters have been (even though they supported USB 3 on the iPads with the same adapter).

I mean they would just only sell the 15/15 Pro in the EU. Unless adding a Lightning to USB-C adapter to older ones would satisfy the EU overlords (like it did before with the micro-USB adapter), Apple likely wouldn't care much about having older models over there anyway.

Yeh, but $300 - $350 for a keyboard and trackpad?   And it's not even wireless (Although Apple's mounting system looks really spiffy and, in typical Apple fashion, may make the whole greater than the sum of its parts).

It IS wireless. It connects through the Smart Connector.

I feel like people are missing things here. For one, the keyboard has its own USB-C port for charging, meaning the port on the iPad is free for say, hooking up an external display or hard drive. Charging through the Smart Connector is something we've been waiting for them to utilize since it was introduced. Also, this keyboard looks a lot nicer to use than the one on the smart folio case. And that hinge looks pretty awesome if it works well in the real world! The price may be a bit steep for a keyboard, but you're getting a lot more than what others offer!
