  • After first revenue decline in 15 years, Apple forecasts return to growth in holiday quarter

I was sooooo disappointed when my phone no-longer fit in my hand. I have no desire for the 6,7, or any of the plus versions. Maybe I'm the only one...
    You are. Get over it.

  • Revenue from Apple Music, Apple Pay & other Apple services jumps 24 percent in Q4

To hell with Pokemon Go. What a glorious waste of time!

I like Apple Music and Apple Pay very much. I think the iOS 10 UI is very good now, and it's easy to make playlists.

And gradually more of the stores we shop at are accepting Apple Pay, which is especially convenient in conjunction with my Apple Watch. The main remaining barrier for me is lack of support from PayPal through which we do most of our billing. We use our PayPal debit card for 80% of our purchases, so it would be great if PayPal would suck it up and play nice with Apple Pay.

  • Beats launches Powerbeats3 Wireless earbuds with Apple's W1 wireless chip

Love my Powerbeats2 Wireless, so I can't wait for these! But now I'm torn between these and the Air Pods. Hmmmm....

  • Samsung sets up Note 7 exchange booths at airports around the world

Apple should have a booth there, too, for exchanging Note 7 with iPhone 7.
Nope. It's not Apple's fault, and Apple shouldn't have to pay for Samdung's blunder. Also, any given Samdung customer should recognize the value of Apple's product enough to both switch and pay full freight for Apple, otherwise they can continue to stew in their own juices, as the saying goes.

  • Apple supplier Foxconn so far up to 40,000 'Foxbots' in China

The jobs that robots CAN do well or better than humans SHOULD be done by them. That is indeed progress, as it frees humans to do more sophisticated and creative work. You can't really fault manufacturers for acquiring more production capacity and efficiency by "employing" robots. Sometimes, robots do tasks that are hazardous to humans.

If there is a problem with robots eliminating jobs, it's the humans who got replaced who didn't predict the dark day of their being so replaced, and/or who didn't prepare themselves for jobs which can't be done by a machine, or at least won't be for a long time, yet.

Anyone can learn anything, any time, regardless of age or circumstances. It simply takes observation, the will to learn, the dedication to learn, and resourcefulness in "making things go right", no matter what.
