The A10 was introduced 3 years ago. Now Apple is introducing a new device with A10. How long will it continue to get software updates? IMO this device would’ve been more compelling if it had an A11. It’s not about how the device performs now but how it will perform 3 years from now.

Does the target market for this device need 256GB? Plus it looks like the only thing they really updated was the processor. Not sure why it took this long to do a processor bump. Honestly the only reason to buy this is if you absolutely must have a headphone jack.racerhomie3 said:
People like me, prefer portable devices. Plus $200 is a good price point for folks looking to get into iOS in developing nations which puts 20-40% tariffs. Developers need to have test devices. DED is obviously worried this device could cut into iPhone sales. It’s getting decent reviews (a good phone at a very good price) and will be on more carriers. There would be no reason to give it attention otherwise.gatorguy said:OMG! It's about time, Google is plainly doomed now.
Desperation has set in, so much so that they're now deciding to offer smartphones at multiple price points with minor differences in capabilities and a mid-cycle release. What's wrong with just a couple of flagships, same time every year? Who does this, offering cheaper devices alongside "expensive", unless they're failing?
