'iPhone X Plus' design seemingly revealed in iOS 12 beta
That doesn't look larger to me. In fact, it looks more exacting than the other image currently found in the iOS 12 beta that is labeled D22, which I believe was the code name for the iPhone X last year. The notch on the D22 image (far right) looks more like what we're seeing with iPhone X knockoffs.(Left to right) iPhone X, "Payment_glyph_intent_phone.caar" file, "Payment_glyph_phone-D22.caar" file
Then there's the wonky square image that looks like an iPod Nano.I really can't see a perfectly square iPad coming out, nor the return of the iPod nano, and the buttons are wrong for the Apple Watch, so I'm wondering if Apple will simply manipulate (i.e.: stretch) the image as needed for whatever aspect ratio is needed to match that iPad.

Latest iOS 12 beta hints at rounded displays for Apple's 2018 iPad Pro refresh [u]

Items in the corners will either be arbitrarily rounded or shifted in from the corner to create a true squared corner. If you are programming a dynamic screen layout do you now have to program work arounds for the corners?
I don’t like the direction if that’s where It’s going.
2) Again, without being technical, you can look at their website and introduction video to gain insight into how apps are formatted:
3) If you're really interested in the nuts and bolts of iOS for iPhone X they do have a very detailed HIG:

Apple unlikely to include Lightning-to-headphone jack converter with 2018 iPhones, analyst...
Wittlewooster said:So, a Trillion dollar company won't include the dongle with their newest, most expensive 2018 phones. I wonder if we will be able to buy it at the Apple store for $39.99? I see how they have become a trillion dollar company. Ugh.....it may be time to reevaluate my loyalty to Apple....

Apple hits $1 trillion market cap, the first US company ever to hit milestone [u]
Jack Nicas has a good piece in The Times looking back at the last 20 years of Apple history, in light of today’s news. A few landmarks:- 1996: Apple’s market cap sunk as low as $3 billion before the NeXT reunification.
- 2007: Apple was worth $73 billion when Steve Jobs introduced the iPhone.
- 2011: Apple was worth $346 billion when Tim Cook took the helm as CEO. Apple closed today with market cap of $1.002 trillion.
That “.002” looks insignificant but represents $2 billion — about what the entire company was worth in 1996.- https://daringfireball.net/linked/2018/08/02/apple-one-trillion

So to put this into some other terms, between the time Jobs introduced the iPhone to when he officially stepped away as CEO for the last time (remember he took a hiatus in which Cook took over for awhile) Apple's valuation rose about 4.75x under Jobs in 4 years. In the last 7 years it's only risen 2.90x under Cook. Fire Cook¡
