Humane's AI Pin is no more and owners are left with nothing
DAalseth said:The biggest problem was that they did model it off of the Communicator badge in Star Trek: The Next Generation. That worked very well as an expository plot device. Riker taps communicator, “Enterprise, we just encountered X, Y, and Z, and we’re going to need to do A, B and C”. It worked great as a tool to let the audience know what was going on. What it isn’t is a good way to find your Proctologist’s office without shouting that to the world. At least an iPhone CAN be used quietly.
No this was a bad idea that ended badly. -
Questionable iPhone 17 Pro Max render in better light looks almost tolerable
ilarynx said:Design-wise, the more logical approach would be to line the 3 lenses in a row up top, with the flash and sensor just below. This would make for a much smaller "bump", but not sure about how this would affect photos with the flash which you would typically want to be furthest from the 1x lens.
I wouldn't mind this, especially if it meant the rest of the phone could be slightly thinner. I think I'd like the lenses flush, however. -
