  • Apple's iMac predicted to overtake HP and lead the All-in-One market

For comparison HP All-in-one computers start at $600, the cheapest iMac is $1300.
Of the 9 All-in-one computers from HP, more than half are under the $1,300 price point.

I dare say the revenue in this category is vastly different between the two companies.

  • New study finds that Night Shift does not improve sleep quality or quantity

Apple has tacitly inferred a lack of evidence for this feature to help sleep, instead on iOS states that it is easier on the eyes. Also the health app’s health checklist and the specific sleep portion of the app makes no mention of it whatsoever. macOS states "This may help you get a better night's sleep."

That said, for some, it is a reminder to put down the phone.

  • Apple managers were conflicted over App Store ads before launch

Being pro-privacy isn't being anti-advertising. This misunderstands just how extreme data gathering and tracking is on the internet.

Getting relevant ad-results based on your search isn't creepy tracking. What is creepy is advertisers following you around the internet after targeting you based on nothing more than messages you've exchanged "privately" over instagram, facebook, whatsapp or gmail/google services.

  • Tile CEO 'welcomes' AirTag competition from Apple's 'runaway monopoly train'

Tile should focus their efforts on making a better product.

The CEO's statements could be taken with more weight if their product wasn't close to garbage (and literal garbage for their devices which don't feature a removable battery). The AirTag is unquestionably a superior design; If a competitor can enter the market with a superior Gen 1 product, then "competition" isn't the problem, the problem is sitting on one's hands for 8 years.

  • Epic's Tim Sweeney said he would have taken special deal with Apple

How does this help their case, it demonstrates:
    1. Epic is not bona fide in their claim that they are advocating for small or voiceless developers.
    2. Epic desires unequal treatment in the app store, special favours for them and them alone.
    3. Epic's actions are entirely profit driven.
    4. Epic's PR campaign against Apple is wilful slander.
