  • A year with MacBook Pro: reviewing Apple's 2017 pro laptop models

As an owner of two of the newer MacBooks and MacBook pros with butterfly 2 keyboards, I have to say that I am disappointed. The keyboards don’t stink but surely aren’t good. The single USB port on the MacBook is just an embarrassment. Cannot charge and use a usb device at the same rime. No usb A port means dongle life forever. And a quite big power adapter for the MacBook pro13” that I have which is even heavier than the MacBook Air it replaces. And charging the MacBook under dim lighting conditions is a hassle with no MagSafe. For my personal company, I invested in. Huawei matebook Pro which alleviates most of the issues I discussed for hundreds less also.

  • Disgruntled MacBook Pro users petition Apple to recall defective keyboards

I'm not really sure as to why/how a keyboard will fail that would require a replacement keyboard. I own two Macs with the butterfly 2 keyboards and I am definitely not a fan, but they are usable. One of my keys didn't really work only after a few months but a few blows of can air did the trick. I have to admit that I was worried as just prying off the keys using a pocket knife wasn't an option with these keys.

  • Watch: Apple's new Files app for iOS 11

Good overview, but missing one huge limitation -- the inability to any of those mentioned things in Dropbox and Google Drive. Selecting multiple files, etc are only limited (right now) to iCloud Drive, which is a huge limitation. If viewing Dropbox files, you are only limited to a panel browser with no sidebar.
