  • Amazon, Super Micro executives join Apple's call to retract Bloomberg spy chip story

Bloomberg need to retract their Vaporware or prove it.  I have already stopped reading any of their news (fake or not).

  • Apple & other tech giants may face EU universal minimum tax rate in the future

  • Lack of iPhone XR delivery delays suggest softer launch demand than iPhone XS

Or maybe it suggests Apple got the demand right and has enough product to sell. And so now the metric for how successful an Apple product is means counting the number of people in line? Like going into Best Buy and counting boxes on the shelves? Do these asshats really do that? I know a lot of people wake up every morning and check the news to see if Apple has failed yet but my God, really?
Lkrupp is correct.  The analysts are trying to keep their jobs and prognosticate at will.  Who really cares ?  I don't care what they say because I have my own internal "feel" of is Apple doing the right thing and are the hiccups even important.  The Prognosticators never come back and report that they were wrong.  They are just selling stories and causing stock churns (+/-).

I care more about the technical articles from reputable people.  Also, I understand enough to know what I read.
This stuff is hardy worth reading, especially when Apple has not spoken or shipped a product.  It is all guess work.  And Apple rarely confirms much.
It does concern me about the Bloomberg article re Servers being tapped by China.  Tim Cook has spoken out on this and asked for a Public Retraction from Bloomberg.  Either Bloomberg can prove it or not.  They say allegations are that Apple has been spied upon as have up to 20 other companies (+ / -).

This has damaged Not only Apple and the other companies, but Bloombergs own reputation.  I hope Apple can extract a retraction from Bloomberg or take them to court.

Bloomberg, as well as others, who make up this unrealistic stuff, need to be responsible.  Now if Bloomberg can prove it , show the proof or keep quiet.
Same for the Analysts that make up news that is not factual.  Now days anyone who has a computer can seemingly write anything - I just did.

  • New iPad Pro again rumored to ditch Lightning for USB-C

The iPad Pro must move to USB-C and the "Button" must be eliminated.  As Apple Cranks up the A Series chip, it will eventually be more than able to handle its weight as a Computer.  One can be sure OSX is running on an A series chip in the lab and it will not be long before we see it marketed.  Long is relative.

For me personally, the keyboard issues have held me back from buying a new Mac for quite a while & I am not sure they will be much better in the future.  I hate to see a company I have so much stock in make so many mistakes.  There is no room for a misfire because the press beats Apple to pieces over any thing, big or little.

I am looking forward to buying a new iPad.  If they don't put USB-C on it and remove the "Button" I am not going to buy one and I consider it to be a misfire beyond forgiveness.

  • Apple's A12 Bionic comes close to desktop CPU performance in benchmarks

Interesting Graph.  I like this type of Comparison - Visual with some numbers.  I am thinking Apple will keep on rolling with the A Series Chips until they create a new Money Stream(s).  Perhaps one day the A Series will become what everyone wants in their Computers , be them Mac, Windows, Linux or what ever.  I see the potential for the A Series to rapidly overcome what ever I might need in a Phone .  As an investor, Apple is doing the right things to grow it's chip design departments in all areas.  In general, I don't trust the Overseas' Manufacturers.  I trust Apple is in control of the Manufacturing - I remember the days when they could not pay for parts.
