Remember when Snap was just an app on the store? 
Apparently these days everybody wants to monetize every app trying to be the next Facebook or whatever.

Back when the glasses were first out they followed a plan to limit availability with pop up sales instead of releasing it to the broad market. Apparently that strategy did not scale very well. They missed a window to scale and then came the knock offs.

since Facebook ripped the, off they have been slowly circling the bowl on their way down the sewer pipe. My guess is that we will read they have filed for bankruptcy unless someone buys them out for Intellectual Property- if they have any locked down at the USPTO.

Shut it down hopefully. But the story said they would concentrate on News and Sports. The problem with that is that Fox does not do news- they do newz.

I have cycled through DTVN, HULU, Sling and YouTube TV over the last year and found them all wanting. YouTube TV does not offer HBO at all. I really do not care about local (network affiliate) channels and want a true a la carte option- no, Sling is not a la carte.

What I would like are pick 10 channels from this list for X Dollars and 20 for X, etc. Not pre-configured bundles forcing us to subsidize stuff we do not want.

It is pretty impressive to see the effort Apple is putting into photography, but it is still just a really nice snapshot camera. Maybe my previous life making a living as a Photographer in the film era is showing, but I will keep my Leicas and Micro 4/3rds LUMIX.

It would be really nice if Apple were to work with a camera maker and come out with a great dedicated camera in the Prosumer end of the market. Imagine what could be done with Apple’s engineering and a great lens set with a larger sensor.
